We are currently in the middle of a large site update. If you encounter any site bugs, please inform us through our Facebook page.
You have questions. We have answers. Here are some of the most common questions we get, and our answers.
Q. Why did you change your name from ParanormalSocieties.org to Paranormal Domain?
A. After 4 years of trying to acquire the abandoned ParanormalSocieties brand with no success, we decided to turn our focus away from any aquisition and rebrand.
Q. I'm interested in joining a team. Can I send my info to several teams at once, but at the same time only to those teams that I choose?
A. This feature isn't available yet, but will be eventually. Users will be able to indicate on their profiles whether or not they are accepting members and visitors to the site will be able to send their info to the organizations that they choose. We are still working out how this part of the site will work.
Q. Do I have to be involved with the "ghost" aspect of the paranormal to join the site?
A. Absolutely not! Every single person from every single aspect of the paranormal is fully welcome to sign up for an account. Once you sign up, you will be able to select the services that you provide under your account settings, and you will then be listed as such in the directory.
Q. I signed up a bit ago, but don't have access to the full site yet and I am not listed in the directory. Why is this?
A. If you have already created a public account but still don't have access to the full site, it's because we either haven't reviewed and listed your account yet or your request for a public account was denied. If it was the later, you would have recieved an email.
Q. What happens if my request for a public account is rejected?
A. You will be contacted via email if there are any issues with your account. If your public account is rejected, your account will be automatically switched to private and you will not have access to public account features.
Q. I was listed on paranormalsocieties.org. Do I have to resubmit my info because of the name change?
A. No. All account data from ParanormalSocieties.org was automatically transferred during the rebrand, HOWEVER, if you are listed on paranormalsocieties.com, an entirely new account must be created due to not being affiliated.
