Over the last year and a half, we have been working on huge updates, including visual and accessibility improvements and improvements to existing features. We will also be rolling out brand new features by the end of this year as well.

A Modernized User Experience
We have moved away from the traditional "spreadsheet" aesthetic in favor of a sleek, modernized interface. Our directory now prioritizes visual identity and accessibility:
Visual Listings: Profile pictures are now prominently displayed within the primary search results.
Enhanced Navigation: Users can access full profiles by clicking the organization’s name or utilizing the new dedicated "View Profile" button.
Remote Service Indicators: For organizations offering virtual consultations or remote assistance, a blue computer icon will now signify "This organization offers remote services."
Precision Search & Intuitive FilteringWe recognized that while some users seek specific expertise, many individuals experiencing unexplained activity may not know exactly what category of help they require. To bridge this gap, we have overhauled our search algorithm.

The search filter is now as specific or as general as the user desires. You can filter by a broad category to explore your options or drill down into niche specialties. Furthermore, we have decluttered our service area menus; regional dropdowns (states, provinces, and territories) will now dynamically populate only after a country is selected, ensuring a clean and relevant user path.
Mobile OptimizationWhile we are currently developing a standalone app for the directory, we are pleased to announce that this new web interface is fully optimized for mobile and tablet devices, providing a seamless experience for those in the field.

Interactive, Map-Based Layout: We have officially traded the old list view for a dynamic, Google Maps-style interactive map. Browse hotspots worldwide, with clusters that automatically zoom in and out to show exactly how many locations are waiting to be explored in any given area.

Global Search & Quick-View Cards: Easily search by location name or address. Simply click on a location marker to view a basic info card featuring a photo, address, and quick-access action buttons.

Built-in Navigation & ReportingQuickly launch Google Maps for step-by-step directions. Easily click "Explore" to dive deeper, or use the "Report" button to flag locations that shouldn’t be featured.

In-Depth Exploration Pages: Clicking "Explore" takes you to a dedicated page detailing the location's history and reported claims. We have combined our evidence tracking into the Comments & Experiences tab, where registered users can easily share their own files and public stories.

Nearby Locations Feature: Planning a ghost hunt? At the very bottom of every location's page, you will now find a Nearby Locations section to help you plot your next stop seamlessly.
